What is the difference between plant-based meals and Vegan meals?

Plant-based meals and vegan meals are similar in that they both do not contain meat, fish, poultry, or any other animal-derived ingredients. However, there are some key differences between the two: Definition: "Plant-based" is a term used to describe a diet that focuses on whole, minimally processed plant foods such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, nuts, and seeds, and may include small amounts of animal products like meat, fish, eggs, or dairy. "Vegan" is a term used to describe a lifestyle that avoids all animal products, including those in food, clothing, and other products. Motivation: People who follow a plant-based diet may do so for health reasons, environmental concerns, or animal welfare concerns. On the other hand, vegans often adopt a vegan lifestyle due to ethical reasons related to the treatment of animals. Flexibility: Plant-based diets are generally considered to be more flexible than vegan diets. Plant-based eaters may occasionally consume animal products, while vegans strictly avoid all animal-derived products. Nutrient intake: Both plant-based and vegan diets can be healthful and provide all the necessary nutrients, but vegans need to be more mindful of getting enough protein, calcium, iron, and vitamin B12, which are commonly found in animal products. Overall, plant-based meals can be a part of a vegan diet, but vegan meals are always plant-based.
